My Note

This Fix arrived about 3 weeks into our state’s Stay Home order, which meant I was on week 3 of my new uniform–joggers and tees…nothin’ but joggers and tees. Don’t get me wrong…I LOVE this comfy combo. But, after 21 days, I found myself longing for some Jogger style inspo. I had also developed a theory πŸ€“that joggers can function as MORE than just loungewear. I truly believe they can be appropriate workwear. Pair them with the right top and accessories and you’ll be going back to work in style AND comfort. πŸ€—

Wanna see if my theory is correct?

Let’s get to the goods!

LooC #1–Bella Dahl + Mix by 41 Hawthorn

Bella Dahl Pacey Jogger Pant

Fit: TTS. These joggers are NOT stretchy sweatpants material, so they have a much more structured fit. I typically wear a 6 or 8 in pants, and size S fit well.

Price: $$$$. Holy smokes πŸ”₯these are the most expensive joggers I’ve every worn! Be prepared to shell out over $120 bucks for these bad boys πŸ‘–

Verdict: The price, alone, was enough for me to re-pack these. But, I also wasn’t crazy over the faded black color and rope tie at the waist. Return.

MIX BY 41 HAWTHORN Denver Front Twist Brushed Knit Top

Fit: TTS. Hooray for stretchy, comfy cotton blends. This shirt is roomy, without looking sloppy.

Price: $. A very budget-friendly $30 dollar top.

Verdict: I was THIISSSS close to keeping this top, until I realized I already own this one by Gibson. They are nearly identical, so I couldn’t justify keeping both. 🌟I HIGHLY recommend this easy-to-wear knit top. 🌟

LooC #2–Velvet by Graham and Spencer + Bella Dahl

Velvet by Graham and Spencer Borsala Boatneck Knit Top

Fit: TTS. Much like the Mix by 41Hawthorn top, this one has plenty of room and stretch, without looking overly baggy.

Price: $$$$ Another budget-buster at $128. I am a believer in “investment” pieces, but not sure this particular top fits the bill.

Verdict: Return. A lower price would have made this one a keeper.

LooC #3–Market & Spruce + Bella Dahl

Market & Spruce Sharon Thumb Hole Cotton Blend Pullover

Fit: TTS. A roomy-fitting sweater with the most lovely cowl neck and chunky knit design.

Price: $$. This sweater is nearly $80…but when you subtract your Stitch Fix styling fee, it brings it down to a very reasonable $60! (That’s my shopping logic, for ‘ya! πŸ’πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ€£)

Verdict: ALL the heart eyes 😍for this sweater. This was a SURPRISE keeper. Since it’s so out-of-season, I thought it would be an easy return. But it is SO comfy and pretty, I couldn’t let it go. It’s folded safely in my closet, now, patiently waiting for cooler πŸ‚ Fall temps. πŸŽƒ

LooC #4–Market & Spruce + Bella Dahl

Market & Spruce Roadith Crew Neck Cotton Blend Pullover

(Can you tell Market & Spruce is a staple Stitch Fix brand πŸ˜‰?)

Fit: Slim fit. I would plan to exchange for one size up, just to compare.

Price: $. Easy on the budget, at under $60

Verdict: Returned this one. I would have preferred a brighter color, and a slightly roomier fit (thanks “COVID 15” πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ).
