My Note
The goal for Fix #65? Major help with that funky transition from Summer’s blistering heat πto Fall’s crisp chill π. I requested pieces that could be easily layered up (and just as easily UN-done) for those days that start at a brisk 60Β° but end in a face-warming 75Β°. Plus, i always want VERSATILE pieces that are usable all year, too!
This seemed like a tall order for one Fix, but I knew my stylist, Kimberly, would rock the challenge. I can’t wait for you to see her 5οΈβ£ picks. So, enough chit-chat…on to the goods!

LooC #1–Market & Spruce + Madewell
Market & Spruce Jillianne Button Down Top
Fit: This is meant to be a close-fitting, feminine take on the classic flannel shirt. I did request a “M” to compare, but the “S” was more flattering.
Price: $58 for this top. Do-able, since its lightweight fabric can be worn in multiple seasons
Verdict: KEEP. This looks like a classic flannel shirt, but styled in a breathable, light-weight fabric with distinctly feminine lines. The red, white, & blue color scheme will look great with white denim in warmer months (π4th of July outfit ideas already?! πΊπΈ)
Madewell Curvy High Rise Skinny Jean
Fit: ππΌππΌππΌ if a hug was a pair of jeans…this would be it! ππΌ
Price: $$$$ Madewell jeans are a bit of a budget-buster…I mean, INVESTMENT…but for good reason. Madewell truly lives up to its name. (π However….you might want to scope out your local store for their $20 “trade-in” credit on used jeans! ππΌ)
Verdict: Return. My denim collection is already embarrassingly large. I could picture these getting lost under my favorite Rockstars π€¦π»ββοΈ. Definitely worth the $$$ if you are a true CAPSULE creator in need of 1-2 pairs of high quality jeans to wear for YEARS to come! π
LooC #2–Market & Spruce
Market & Spruce Aubree Striped Elbow Patch Pullover

Fit: Stretchy, cozy, comfy. Stick with your normal size.
Price: a moderate $58
Verdict: Keep. The stretch, the perfectly-placed stripes, and the smart elbow patches made this one a total β win!
LooC #3–Market & Spruce + Moda Luxe
Market & Spruce Kathleen Cargo Jacket

Fit: Dreamy!! π§₯ I usually size up in jackets–especially to fit sweaters underneath. But this one, in my normal size S, was a PERFECT fit, with plenty of stretch and room to layer. ππΌ
Price: $$$ Well, it’s LESS than the jeans…but more than the sweater & shirt π€ͺ . Under $100, which isn’t too shabby for a jacket.
Verdict: Return. Yes, even after all the β’s of this jacket, I still sent it back. I’m just not a HUGE cargo jacket fan. If you are….this one will be a sure winner for ‘ya!

Moda Luxe Joely Lasercut Tote
Fit: OSFA (One Size Fits All) . Love that! π
Price: $ I was SHOCKED how inexpensive this tote was, y’all. I was braced to spend π° over $100 for this beauty. Nope. Not…even…close. This tote is a real bargain.
Verdict: KEEP!! π
