My Note
With 🎄Christmas and ❄️ New Year’s approaching, my request was pretty simple: sparkly Holiday wear–emphasis on the ✨ S-P-A-R-K-L-Y ✨!!
Enough chit chat…on to the goods! (Fair warning…off-key caroling included in this month’s video! 😊)
LooC #1–Cosmic Blue Love, Daniel Rainn, Stella & Ruby
Cosmic Blue Love Callie Cuffed Skinny Pant

Fit: TTS with lovely stretch. The rise/waist didn’t sit well with me (literally). I was tugging at these quite a bit just in the few minutes of filming the try-on. Not comfy = not a keeper.
Price: $$–$88, pretty average for Stitch Fix pants, but, a bit steep for such a “plain Jane” pair of slacks, in my opinion
Verdict: Return
Stella & Ruby Krisella Statement Necklace
Fit: OSFA fully-adjustable link style statement necklace
Price: $, at less than $40 I consider this a real bargain for such a dazzling piece
Verdict: I seriously debated this piece. Ultimately, I did return it because I already own a similar style from my absolute FAVE jewelry designer on Etsy (see my Post all about her, here!). If your jewelry collection needs a boost, I HIGHLY recommend requesting the Stella & Ruby Krisella!
Daniel Rainn Judeth Open-Back Lace Detail Knit Top

Fit: TTS, slim with a nice amount of stretch and great tummy “camoflauge” thanks to the deep plum color
Price: $$, less than $60 for this quality top. I am sure you could find similar styles at TJ’s or Marshall’s for about a quarter of the price, though
Verdict: Keep This top is VERY unlike me. I typically favor sparkle over lace. And my back is not something I tend to bare in public (swimsuits aside). Since it is unlike anything else in my closet, that prompted me to buy. And, I’m happy to report I’ve already worn it twice!
LooC #2–Montagne

Montagne Umbra Off the Shoulder Knit Top
Fit: Pretty snug and LONG, definitely felt like a tube top! Extra stretchy knit material helped it feel less constricting, though.
Price: $, less than $50, which is a great deal for Stitch Fix tops
Verdict: Return
LooC #3–Daniel Rainn

Daniel Rainn Paetyne Lace Detail Blouse
Fit: An easy, flowy blouse. Material didn’t feel super breathable (if you’re a sweater, like me, tha’s a concern! 😓) It IS indeed sheer, so need to wear a nude or black cami underneath
Price: $$, $68…average for Stitch Fix blouses. Not out of line for such a beautiful, versatile top.
Verdict: Return (those tight arms, though! ☺️)
